Accelerating Innovation
During our 6-month "new and inclusive idea" pre-accelerator experience, participants will come to the program with an idea that they've been working on related to improving educational outcomes for students furthest away from opportunity and enhance their idea through our learning experiences rooted in equity, technology, innovation, and 21st century learning.
The mission of this program is to accelerate the pace of innovation in our Las Vegas education ecosystem by working with educators and education entrepreneurs to cultivate new solutions that will lead to an entirely new way of teaching and learning in the next wave of the 21st century in Las Vegas. During our 6-month "new and inclusive idea" pre-accelerator experience, participants will take an idea they've been working on and enhance their idea through learning experiences rooted in equity, technology, innovation, and 21st century learning.
Designing for the Future
As the future of work continues to shape in the next wave of the 21st century, it is important that our education system adapts to these emerging trends and needs. Our innovation lab has embarked on a 5-year journey to cultivate pathways for community members to develop and enhance ideas.

By the end of the pre-accelerator, participants will have built their capacity in these 4 focus areas:

Identifying and exploring key challenges and/or opportunities related to the future of learning in Las Vegas.

Using insights from data and community voice to design and/or enhance new solutions grounded in human-centered design and equity principles.
03
Piloting and testing solutions with students most impacted by the challenges being addressed.
04
Collecting and codifying learning that will help inform next steps in enhancing the solution and/or scaling the solution to a larger number of students.
